Ohr
Ki Tov was created in 1985 by addicted Jews and their families who were
participating in 12-Step Recovery Programs and who wanted to learn more
about Jewish spiritual practices that could support, supplement and
strengthen their recovery.
Since that time
..
Ohr
Ki Tov has grown to become a locally based, nationally active organization
that provides counseling and education for individuals, families, groups
and communities. Special assistance, after-care guidance and intervention
is provided for not only the alcoholic and addict, but for the family
members and significant others as well. At Ohr Ki Tov, the family is the
client.
Our path is simple
.
Ohr Ki Tov strongly encourages participation in the 12-Step Method.
We believe that addictions are a three-fold disease affecting Body, Mind and
Spirit. All personal growth activities and special events seek to enhance recovery
by helping to integrate Jewish values and practices with the therapeutic process of recovery.
